This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Technically necessary data (IP address, time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, browser type and referrer) may be processed in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation). This data is not combined with other sources and is deleted automatically after a short period. Content and media files are stored with Neon (Postgres database) and Vercel (Vercel Blob). Data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place or being concluded with all of these providers. As they may also process data in the United States, any such transfer takes place on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses or, where certified, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The website is served exclusively over an encrypted TLS connection (https).

When you use our contact, partner or calculator form, we process the data you enter (such as name, email address, phone number and message) in order to handle and answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Your details are stored in our database and forwarded to us by email through the service provider Resend (Resend, Inc., San Francisco, USA), and to you as a confirmation of receipt if you ask for one. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Resend; as the provider may also process data in the United States, any such transfer takes place on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses or, where certified, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

We use cookies and similar technologies (including localStorage) only where they are strictly necessary for the operation of the website or where you have consented. The legal basis for accessing your device is § 25(2) TDDDG (technically necessary storage) or § 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

Your consent is voluntary; without it, all content on the website remains available to you unchanged. No third-party scripts are loaded and no non-essential cookies are set before you consent. We store your choice, together with the time and version of your consent, in your browser and in a first-party cookie. That record is also our proof under Art. 7(1) GDPR.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future; withdrawing is as easy as giving it. On withdrawal we stop the processing concerned and delete the associated cookies. This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies and comparable technologies to evaluate, pseudonymously, how the website is used: which pages are visited, how long a visit lasts, which source it came from and roughly which region it originates in. We use this evaluation solely to improve the content, structure and loading times of the website. No combination with other data sets and no identification of individuals takes place.

The legal basis is exclusively your consent under § 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. As long as you have not consented, the Google Analytics script is not loaded; no cookies are set and no data is transmitted to Google. We additionally use Google Consent Mode v2, in which all consent signals towards Google default to "denied".

Your IP address is truncated by Google before it is stored. "Google Signals" and personalised advertising are disabled for this property; the data is not used for advertising purposes. The cookies used have a lifetime of up to two years; user and event data stored in Google Analytics is deleted after 14 months at the latest. The exact cookie names are listed above under "Statistics".

The recipient is Google Ireland Limited; a transfer to Google LLC in the United States cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and EU standard contractual clauses apply in addition. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings in the section above or via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. We then switch measurement off and delete the Google Analytics cookies that were set.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and a right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
